Spotted the fuzzy white legwarmers, And thought to myself, “see! this is why I start my plants every day”!69ABB8F6-A0F2-4EC1-A35E-9203771548F8.jpeg
I kindly asked the fellows to move away but when they got lippy with me, I had to blast them with the soapy water. 😔🤣

Oh sorry, I’m assuming these are woolly aphids.

Update on the apples.

Looking a little sad with a couple plants in the center died back. They are starting to sprout, but still not great for the design.
I thought about separating each of them into their own containers, but after looking at the roots and how they are woven together already, I decided to pass. Still lots of room for new roots 10258861-E410-42E8-8987-3E71159A4794.jpeg
I decided on putting it back in the pot, and wired up the whips. ABEAD5B7-3FFA-4083-BD2E-018261DEAA0B.jpegCut back to triangle 806933F8-FD84-40FF-9163-B9E14001A731.jpeg

Well, none died. That good. The small ones 1D8C92A0-F7DF-4CC2-AFBE-D244A6594B45.jpegat middle right will probably get snuffed out this season.
Next years repot will need rearranging with an additional planting of new trees.

I’m really seeing the advantage of growing out seedlings individually, and then combining later. That’s ok, it’s cool to see how the roots mesh together.

Some buds are starting to pop.
Decided to do a quick trim and wire before It gets difficult to see.

I think I need to see if I can get the slow growing trees at the very left to gain some vigor, while keeping others in check.
IMG_0552.jpegThe trees aren’t laid out exactly perfect!
Things change quite a bit when they’re grown from seed!
I may do some rearranging if I choose to repot it in the next couple weeks and the roots seem up for it. 🤔
