What’s your latest Bonsai related purchase?

I just purchased a nursery stock Acer Palmatum Corallinum because I didn’t have one and it’s nice . Using a new seller who’s prices are really quite good compared to other online nursery’s offering the same size range for higher costs. So if things turn out well I’ll be adding them to the “European websites” thread.
Got my eye on a few more from them for the future including some Mugo’s if I am satisfied with my test purchase.

Wire mesh, lumber and soil amendments for another grow bed, this one for A. palmatum seeds.
Log rounds and amendments for ground growing bed.
Mulch for heeling in plants.

Hm. I doubt it raised any eyebrows here. It is after all, only a fraction of the trees I have.
Or maybe I should say.. I bought them, and they are being bought from me by the club members. Only a handfull will stay with me for more than a few days (In fact, 20 of them have already left the garden last night by club members swooping in)

Just bought a 3rd grow light, have about 200 JBP & JRP seedlings in grow and 1st cut on heat mats in process, now I have light on 3 shelves of the rack. I think the next purchase is a grow room to put the rack in for the winter, it's in a very large south facing window now but as the sun gets lower it probably isn't needed for the winter. All in a spare room I keep un-heated.

I was alerted, on Ebay, to a severely marked down NineBark Gallon-sized nursery pot.. there were no actual pictures of SPECIFIC specimens provided.. buuuuut I was feelin’ lucky so I took the gamble.... it only ended up costing me 11.76... so I believe the potential “gain” is much greater than the potential “loss”... and “breaking even”, at THAT price.. using THIS line of reasoning, will be incredibly easy.

Are there any bonsai professionals in your area? It’s a 2-3 hour drive to get to bonsai nurseries by me.

I bought a Thor pot but have him holding it cos I thought we´d go into a lock down again but turns out the gubment don´t really care so should probably grab another and get him to send them.

There are workshops & very experienced bonsai artists all over Germany. In a 2-3 hour drive it should be possible for most to reach someone.
