What’s your latest Bonsai related purchase?

Who cares?
Nobody, because nobody is around.

Oh, and I trust fysics. Fysics tell me, yeah, there is sound.
Actually I was just reading about this last week. Sound does not really exist. It is all just vibration. Brains interpret the vibrations as sound. I read two books last week and I think it was in a book called "The Body" by Bill Bryson. I do remember reading this somewhere else too within the last couple of years but I can't remember the book. I believe it was written by a physicist. It may have been one of Carlo Rovelli's books but don't hold me to it.
You may or may do be aware that the question is posed as a Zen Koan.

He doesn't have any on his site. Would love to get one.
Jason got lots of kinzus, just not on his website, you can text or call him and he will send you pics and price, I got a nice one from him last month.

I got it from Jason Schley since I was already getting the kinzu kumquat from him. All his BRT are or were on sale on his website.

However its currently lost in the USPS system... just realised it's probably because they were mandated to prioritize the mail in ballots. Bad timing...
Ahhhh I had a package not move that was priority for a week. Forgot about ballots moving via USPS mail. It finally started moving again yesterday. Hopefully your tree will recover from the delay. Many do...

Really nice Carol! I'm not familiar with the first...but am thinking they are known by their scent when in bloom. If I'm not confused.

Lovely powderpuff! I think you will fall in love with how well they do inside. As well as they bloom all year long.

Crean mate as some one suggested in the other post.

I ran out of PK-fertiiser. Everytime this fall after feeding there was heavy rain, so had to feed again. So my latest purchase was PK-fertiliser

BRT is throwing a tantrum as they do and dropping its leaves, but its already budding out again. Originally I was going to take this in a classic flat top direction, but I may go bolder and make a more literati type design using the left most branch as the new apex. Time will tell, but now is a good time to take some shots while its naked. Input always appreciated!

Definitely chew over your options.

Picked up two plants for experiment, both for $10.

First is a Hamamelis vernalis (witch-hazel). The middle section "died" according to my co-worker but I found it was actually quite alive. Should be interesting, though Hamamelis leaves are a little on the large side. Great fall color, though.

Second was a Corylus contorta (contorted filbert or Harry Lauder's walking stick). I've been wanting to try one for bonsai for a while and will get my chance!

Yes, the blooms are supposed to smell like grapes, plus PURPLE! Can't wait to see the powderpuff bloom. Still blaming you and @Clicio for that purchase, lol.
