Last spring I obtained a couple landscape Weigela that had been listed for free online. They went into various beds, as I was running low on box material and nursery pots. This is one of two that seem to have a bit of character. There's a ton of dead material and moss that needs cleaned up, among other things. Today I noticed it had started to leaf out. So, I jumped on some root work and putting it into a box with pumice.
This one has a small, separate plant that I left sitting with it. It had some kind of charm.
I cleaned up some of the dead top section, but forgot to take a picture. It still needs work. Here's the photos from earlier.
