Please don't take this the wrong way but as impressive as they are, it seems they may be getting to big in proportion to the tree. Do you think because he keeps it submerged they are just going to get taller and taller?

Please don't take this the wrong way but as impressive as they are, it seems they may be getting to big in proportion to the tree. Do you think because he keeps it submerged they are just going to get taller and taller?

I don't know if that has anything to do with it, in person they are not so out of scale. The tree is about a foot and a half shorter than in the past. The apex had gotten unruly and we chopped it and are growing a new one. Finished it will be about five feet, the knees are about 8 to 10 inches, I think, I haven't really measured them.
