I am flying to Japan for a couple weeks and would enjoy visiting Shinji Suzuki as part of my trip.

Any advice on how I can set this garden visit up?

Thank you

You want to go to his private garden or to the Taikan Bonsai Museum? I think the latter is just open to the public.
For private garden visits I found it not to be easy without the right connections (Which I completely understand)

The Taikan Bonsai Museum.

Basically the photos and videos of Shinji Suzuki Taikan museum.

This is 2 hrs or so from Tokyo and I am willing to make the travel.

I've made arrangements for about 7 other gardens, this particular garden has been elusive to arrange.

I'd contact Michael Hagedorn, Matt Reel, or Tyler Sherrod.

Bill Valavanis visits that nursery as part of his tour:

Might be worth an email to Bill, or a phone call. He's also on Facebook:

I was not able to visit Shinji Garden on this trip.
I was able to visit many other great gardens while in Japan.

Thank you all for the advice.

Nice pics. How did you organize a visit to Kimura's garden? I thought it was not open to the public?

I am not sure if it is, or not opened to the public.

I arranged my visit via a private tour.

Definitely is off the beaten path of Omiya Bonsai Village.
