About 80 foot up in a maple halfway through removal I found this "air layering"..a rotted section of tree collected debris, leaves n whatnot that compost down over time..and it ended up forming a rootball at the base of the branch protruding from it..very neat...i truly wish it was alive and or at least not mangled ..would be really cool to of extracted and planted it
