Urban city ditch privet!

I think we are right on target and I'm with you!

I found a "not for insulin" needle in the juniper hedgerow at the strip mall the other week!

Hell...even True Yamadori, iffin that does mean...."from the mountain", is getting destroyed.

Seems The Man from Snowy River was wrong.
NOLA is dry.

Update on the urban city ditch Privet,
It's been growing like a champ and I decided to do a first styling before the branches get to firm .

The first picture is the front I have chosen ,,
I was wanting to get some opinions on The carving that I will be doing later on .IMG_2042.JPGIMG_2043.JPG IMG_2039.JPG

That is a nice find. One of my favorite former trees was a hemlock that was maybe ten years old when a big road sign had fallen back and knocked it down. It had grown out from under the edge of the roadsign for a couple of more years before I came across it. Neat tree. I gave it to a friend a decade ago, who decided he want to plant it and let it grow. Made for a neat story for his little girl to tell.

[edit: 2 decades ago. twenty years ago. TWENTY?!?! Damn, time flies when your hobbies are measured in decades]
