Considering the trunk chop-ability of beaver regardless the trunk size, one may want to enlist their efforts at leaving a characteristic top. May require slight training to follow specific guidelines of right where you want the chop done. I'm certain you'll be able to locate a beaver in your surroundings. Probably start with a young one, they're easier to train.

A older, more experienced beaver can gnaw a trunk better than a young beaver. But you guys are behind the times. @Arcto has been exploiting beaver for some time now:
