and here it is, the most common tree you’ll find in Chinese homes: the money tree. Apparently it’s for good luck. It makes up more than 50% of trees you’ll find in a supermarket or nursery, and I think it’s the ugliest tree I’ve ever seen. It’s just a straight stump with an abrupt chop, and then a few weed shaped leaves at the top
