I have taken previous trips to this property. I got permission again to dig a few of these trees up (Will post in separate threads)

I know these are invasive species and native to China. Best case, I got good material. Worst case, one more off the streets (to be replaced by 100 more)

I found this blown/ pushed flat onto the ground and the end growing up. I’m not sure if this would work better as a slanted or as a raft style. Any ideas?

I’ll let this recover in it’s slanted position and will decide to to proceed later

Had some free time and had a big 20gal pot of used potting soil/ nursery soil I could use up

Repot time! Better than the literal dirt they were in

I tried to reposition, but really didn’t work in a round pot. I’d like to get a long type pot for it. I think that’d work a lot better, but really don’t have a good spot for a long pot on my bench. I’ll stay on the lookout for something around 12” long. That’d work
