Timeline for trunk wiring on Junipers

I'm curious if the root balls seem more stable after the big summer growth.

I doubt it… mine never did after the first year. I think it is due to the media Brent uses. Particle media without tie down doesn’t usually creat stable root system.

No, both trees suffered during the hard freeze in December, the kishu died, the shimpaku is slowly recovering.
