We are entering Fall leaf drop and as in previous years the trees to start the drop were the Black Locust followed by the Ash and Plum. The rest will now start changing color, etc...

That is all normal however the potted Thundercloud looks to be pushing again  It seems rather odd as it is bare and has hundreds of new buds pushing...

Should I just ignore or is there a problem I have never encountered before?

Not sure about in your zone, but in mine most of my trees are responding to the slowly cooling weather as a second spring, which is normal for us. No trees are even close to dropping leaves right now for me

I have seen them bud way to early in Spring here and the recovery from that was not so good. I have never seen this happen in the Fall and was a little concerned. My first instinct is to take them out of the full sun and put them in semi-shade but not certain *sigh*

While this is normal for us here...I think it could be a problem for your tree come winter. Using it's energy now on something that will be damaged or shed in a few weeks is not good.

Good luck!

That is my concern so I am going to move it to the shade side of the house as it is in full sun and always has been. We had 8 inches of snow last Halloween and it is not that far away in terms of plants and behavior.
