This morning

Your bonsai garden looks great as always Dave. We normally get the 90 degree temps in July, & we did have a normal summer last year while 80% of the US was burning up, might be our turn this year. I just pretend I'm in Florida & hide in the AC while I stare out the windows. :) I'm going to move my larches into a shady spot since I can only water twice a day on work days, & bring my cactus outside. Are you going to make any adjustments for the murder hot weather?
So, while I was cleaning up some dog vomit at 6 am today 💩 🤷‍♂️ , I started thinking about your question again, and I'd like to amend my answer. I've decided to bunch all my shohin together on the bench where they'll get a smidge more shade. Pushed together, the pots will be more shaded and less likely to overheat or dry out. Everything else will get watered before work and when I get home from work.

Meanwhile in Georgia, I just picked several tomatoes. The tomato plants are still blooming and growing. That all stops by Saturday morning though.
I guess we were all spoiled by the crazy warm October and early November. I still had tomatoes on the vine outside on Halloween and have only had a small handful of light frosts and freezes since. I'll actually be in Houston for turkey day and am packing shorts!
