Dave send it to me if you don't like it. It's an upgrade from my jbp. Which is none unless you count the seedlings contest. Like my guy wires?Erb owes us several pictures, I think?.
This is one I have a love-hate relationship with… I call it “the tree that won’t die”?

It appears according to the letter of the law it had to be a picture of one tree! So which one of the 24 did i pick! This one! And one extra individual picture. JBP transfer from colandar to growbox beginning year five. These are Mikawa JBP from seed acquired from a grower in Kyoto. candle extensions approaching 3 inches end of april. Expect three flushes of growth this season. Next step will be checking each tree to remove branches that may create problems for the trunk shape and managing the apical sacrifice for maximum growth while retaining the lower branching. Keeping the sun and air on the interior buds and smaller branches.Lots of water and fertilizer. They are in a very free draining, high aeration mix. Combined organic and slow release osmocote Apex brand fertilizer applied.Choosing a direction, there's the rub.
24 JBP beginning year five. What direction? Which Tree?
Does this mean i have 23 free posts?View attachment 188803
This grafted juniper was thrown from its bench last December and partially torn from its pot during the oak tree debacle of 2017. Many branches were bent or broken and the lowest graft was broken and twisted, most of the foliage lost, and essentially detached, though wire kept it from being completely removed. Well, it’s recovering well... and the dropped branch lives on!!!
