Newly acquired juniper, in the canopy is a piece of deadwood which would be the very top of the tree at 19cm, so I gotta work at bending the branches down. Literally just slipped it into that pot since it’s a bit bigger, I don’t even know what the roots look like yet. It’s hot dry and windy since I’m on the 5th floor, so I need some depth to hold enough moisture for a whole day.

Wintergreen boxwood. Nursery find, pre-bonsai phase. Love the bark characteristic and subtle movement to form an old “oak” feel.

Just saying, that is the ugliest glaze I have ever seen on a pot. If you like it, okay. If it matches your decor, i shudder to think. Just busting chops, no harm intended. Don't change the pot on my account.

it is disgusting, but i couldn't find a plain clay pot in that size, everything this size and under are all weird and funky coloured and the plain pots which i prefer are all enormous.
Also, you should follow the rules, i got nothing worthy to show for this reply and i'm at work, so here's that tree when i saw it online
