Do you have any old photos of you and bonsai? Break 'em out! Here's a shot of me working on a shimpaku in my back yard in '96 Crazily... I remember when my wife took this photo. Our oldest child was less than two months old

Great picture , there’s something about the early-mid 90’s that has a certain aesthetic. Too bad I didn’t read about bonsai in the preschool library back then .

I have plenty of photos of old bonsai but not so many old photos of bonsai and even fewer old photos of bonsai with me as well but I have found a couple.

This was taken as promotion for a bonsai display and demo at a local nursery run by Clive (left). Obviously the wild man on the right owns the trident group.

Shibui is right. I am a noob. Fotos of old guy with trees I got. Old photos of me with trees I got none.

At first glance I thought the guy on the left was Steve Irwin the crocodile hunter.

Currently it’s the only picture I have of myself and my bonsai. My son got a kick out of helping me heel them in for the winter. He also enjoyed periodically checking on them during the rest of winter and now helping me water them.
