The bonsai community... such a positive influence on my life

@Bonsai Nut, though you, as my brain has made you, have ranged from dorky college kid, to Old Guy, to who you really are, to forgetting what you really look like because the last person I saw in a soccer shirt was Sack from Wedding Crashers..lol...

The you that matters, has only continuously grown to reveal itself as better and better...

Your consistency is much of our salvation.

My only wish is that I wish the classify section here has more action since I dont do FB at all and all my friends are getting their trees on FB..😢😢😢
I have to admit I cheat and use my husband's FB to get on the auctions. He is not thrilled that his page always has bonsai stuff popping up on it. ;)

I’m very happy that I found this forum!
I do feel like I have made many friends here. I appreciate the willingness to share information, advice and experience of those who have the knowledge of this craft. Without the direction of this forum I would still be here:

And look at the really nice trees you have now, as well as nice pots!

You’re gonna make me cry!

Honestly, this community is of overwhelming value to me...

I feel I should thank EVERYONE else, all the other wonderful people who participate here... I am in fairly extreme quarantine/isolation due to “yadda-yadda-yadda”... and I truly appreciate being a part of this community more than I could possibly express.

So “x” Bless you guys, as well!

This site has been a daily fixture for me for over a decade and I personally am a much richer person for it in many ways. Along with all things bonsai, the friendships that have been born from my participation here will shape the rest of my life... and that's kinda cool  . Anyways, @bonsainut, when we finally meet in person at the next Silhouette Show in Kannapolis, @Adair M will buy the first round;).
The bar at the Logan’s Roadhouse is a good place...

Thank you sir for building and maintaining this website. I have only just started, and have already learned so much here and will certainly learn a lot in the future from all the people who would like to share their knowledge with others. So also thanks to all the members.

It is great to know this community is there. Just waiting to hear what is happening in uour backyards. Where many of our face-to-face friends might snicker and think, yeah right. There is always a Allright! waiting right here on the site. Love that.

Thank you for building & keeping up with this site.

Agreed. And to be honest, I prefer the Erldunda Roadhouse Restaurant.
A little closer for me but still a fair trip - 22 hours in the car from here and a good way further for most B'nutters.
Could also be a bit warm outside in the next couple of months.

I add my thanks to Greg for the forum and all of those who continue to post positive and encourage others.

That seems like a long way to go for a meet?????
I’m talking about the Logan’s in Kannapolis, NC. There are, usually, good bonsai shows in Kannapolis: the annual (except this year) Winter Silohette show, and the bi-annual National Shohin Show.

Both these shows attract bonsai people in from all over the East Coast.

The fact that I ended up 25 miles from Kannapolis is no coincidence :)

Since stumbling upon this site several years ago, it’s been a part of my daily life. A big thank you to @Bonsai Nut & the rest of the Nutters for making me feel like this absurd obsession with tiny trees is not as weird as my family says it is 😂😂😂.

Its also a great time of year to hit that “Support Our Site” button on the bottom of the home page. This site doesn’t run on newbie tears and @MACH5 likes.

Happy Holidays to all the Nutters!
