Ten Months of a Cork Bark Elm

I think yours is a regular Chinese elm with rough bark.
I had 3 like it at one time and @ColinFraser has one like it too.
I was going to post this answer on your thread but forgot until I saw your post here just now.
The cork bark ones get lumpy while the one you have has uniform bark like American elm.
All of the rougher bark elms seem to be more cold hardy too. I still have 2vroot cuttings from the ones I had. It was all I could salvage after the V.C. offensive of 2 winters ago. But the trees were surviving winters here.
