We might have nice colored sky's sometimes, but you have the northern lights! Awsome!

The only Northern lights I've ever seen have been mostly white with very little color... but white in a way it's hard to describe. I've only ever sen them twice in my, ahem** several decades of life.

That photo was from 2003, the year we moved to Rochester. Of course, I figured I'd get many more opportunities to witness similar displays, but that was by far the best I've seen.

It is a longer exposure which enhances the colors a bit compared to what you'd see with the naked eye, but the colors were obvious.
