Spring Fundamentals

Ryan does a great job, really.
He has the perfect personality type to be a great instructor....he's the opposite of a "bonsai loner".
He's clear, concise, easy to hear and understand, and loves to share publicly.
I've been watching more bonsai videos ever since my wife showed me that I can see YouTube on our TV!
Fire stick is cool!

even my wife who was reading facebook says "ok, so what are the three reasons to repot?"
Loss of percolation
Changing planting angle
forgot the 3rd one.
Watched that video a couple weeks ago and my brain hasn't been working all that well lately.
Definitely worth the time watching it.

Thinking of going tier 3 but don't like the idea of putting my credit card number out there, hence I use paypal

Love the Avatar!
Obviously! :)

I agree the Bonsai Mirai live videos are very helpful!

Decomposition of substrate :)

Exactly!
I remember I asked some years ago (via pm) one Spanish bonsai artist on IBC to kindly share in public a method/technique of him, which he had mentioned in his post and he replied to me : I don't teach for free!
And he was by no means compared to the skills and size of Ryan Neal!

Bloody wonderful!

I watched an hour yesterday morning.
And I was dying to finish it all day!

He has the perfect personality type to be a great instructor...

You know that's true when you are talking back to your screen!

I feel informed.

Love Mirai!

Thanks @Ginseng Ficus !

I totally agree . Ryan has a great personality and confidence as an instructor. I like what he said, It's about the health of the tree, not about you. You can tell he thrives off that. Rightly so!
He makes you think things out and explains why!

No problem! I watched this video 3 times already. Very good video. Best so far!

He just doesn't repot for the sake of reporing it must be 100 percent usage to repot. Love it it's great!

Its sad that some people let money rule, but at the same time a living must be made.

Although I understand what you say, this is not the case.
Because as I discovered later the information asked (about Pinus halepensis) was already there on the internet published by a different bonsai person (who obviously was much more generous) :)

Gotta love Bull Terriers! She's a liver bully.
Nice looking dog. I have a mini after 20 years of the standards. Not much difference between the two kinds, except I now get smaller holes in the walls.
