It's hard for me to keep up with the vigour of this Sargent juniper




The pollen cones are really letting go this year. I've never had most of my procumbens loaded with the pollen cones and releasing a cloud of spores only takes a gentle movement or placement.

I'll be cutting this shimpaku back a bit more this year. I see at least 10 cuttings to be had. Keeping the sacrifice.

Got this Kishu at the Nationals last year. Getting into a pot next month.

The yellow or gold will return with Sun exposure.
Most of my collection hasn't seen sunlight since December.
I put my trees away pretty clean and any die off isn't a handful for the sum of all my collection including pine needles.
