Hello guys ! I'm looking to buy some soil mix for my juniper. Any recommendations ?

I recommend you post a pic of the tree.

If it is small and needs to grow out, use a larger nursery pot and use some good nursery soil! If it is already mature and well established, and it is time to plant it in a bonsai tray, go Boones mix or something porous and inorganic like that...

I love soil wars. Keep it going. You need way more pumice than Sorce recommended.
Question, does decomposed granite add natural sorce of Iron to your trees? The only reason I ask is all my trees are doing good in pumice, lave, and fir bark mix except my California Junipers. My dad always mixed DG in his Ca Juniper mix. Did he know something I don't or was that just the soil of choice 20 years ago. Who uses DG these days and why?
