Looking for a smaller but gnarly KH starter. Looking to add it to an already established and gnarly composition.

If you want to go the John Eads route, I can ask him if he has anything on his farm

What size/age are you looking for? By the gnarly description it sounds to me that you are looking for something slightly older or already in training.

Looking for an add to an established clump. Something twisty, or flexible enough to twist. Size wise, 6” tall and 1/2” or so at the base. Larger is ok too but no bigger than 12” x 1.5”. Thanks @Kievnstavick .

I have a few hundred in a few different sizes. at 1/2" they are not going to bend much. I have some that size that could be cut back to be 6" tall.
send me a pm, or email. talk@leftcoastbonsai.com

Would that be the 4 trunk clump you showed me? Just curious..BTW I'm always looking for good training potential material. I'm not so much a finished bonsai purchaser or stuff that will cost in the upper 1k range. Although I did get a very advanced black pine only because I would never be able to make a 35 year old black pine in a 5 year range to look anywhere close to that amazing.

Dylan Fereira/Cedar Rose Nursery might have some good material. He grows a lot of deciduous trunks with crazy shapes and he's mentioned having Korean hornbeam in the ground currently

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

Well i normally don't care about the numbers much but 4 always makes me wish for 5. So totally understand why you're looking for a 5th.
