It took 5.25 minutes for Bonsai Nut to load just now. Earlier, after responding to a post, it took MUCH longer for that to load -- I actually went to the potty, then poured myself another cup of coffee before returning downstairs to the computer room where I arrived in time to see my response JUST pop up. I must have been gone more than 10 minutes.

I routinely follow half a dozen other Asian Arts web pages, and NONE of them are responding like this, so it is not MY issue or one with my provider.

There must be a fix! It's really not worth my time to wait that long.

So, let's see how long THIS takes to show up.

Very odd. Nothing happened, except wheels kept turning and turning. I waited 4 minutes. Then I stopped the process, refreshed the screen, and tried to post again. After a minute's wait I got a message saying I was posting a duplicate message and I was redirected to the message.

So. SOMETHING's working, but slowly and it's not showing up on the screen. Again . . . this happens only on B-Nut.

I use Windows 7 Professional and Firefox 32.0.3.

Mines acting the same way right now and has been since last night.only on bonsainut

Same thing. Seems to have been better overall the last couple of weeks, but last night and this morning...very slow to respond.

Depends on my server host. I use a cloud server and every now and then something gets frogged up and I have to contact the host for them to move things around and free up more resources. Though I am "supposed" to have dedicated resources, it is always another web application on another site that is caused system problems.

The only real problem I have with this issue, (I see it almost every other day or so) aside from being annoying, is that sometimes I don't see what is new or new posts when this happens. As it's so slow to load the page, sometimes I'll exit, and when I go back there are no new posts anymore.

Blame it on people like my hubby... he frequently uses mass amounts of 'cloud' resources in his work... he and his team once killed Azure in Western Europe for 5 hours. O.O

40,000 nodes of use isn't odd for certain companies... and as 'cloud' services grow... I expect spikes to get worse. You should jot a note and see if it's at certain times of day. I would bet money that it's worse during business hours.

I've had some slight issues with this site over the past few months, but never like what most of you guys experence. Most of my browsing is done at work on a hilton secure t5 line. I can help but wonder if using a secured business line makes it so i dont experence the types of problems the masses seem to be experiencing.

I thought this thread was going to be about Kingsville Boxwood!

I'm going to post a system message. There will be some hardware upgrades to resolve this issue. The site will be down on Saturday from zero early-thirty to like 6 AM.

Yikes! I'd have been fired if I did that. I guess bosses don't care any more -- or have given up trying to get 8 hours of work out of people?

Site is running better this morning. :) My host had to take care of some delayed server maintenance (ahem). Sometimes they just need a reminder :)

MUCH better. Hope it stays tht way.

Thanks for your efforts, it is working very well today. Yesterday the site was pretty much unusable most of the day.
