Satsuki Bonsai Club Show pictures

I came to the Satsuki Bonsai Club Show yesterday and lilke to share with you some pictures. I'm new in digital photography and don't know why lot of pictures have very blue background!? May be due to the blue shade cloth? I don't know how to change the background color, so I just change the color to black and white in some pictures to get better view.

This New Port Cherry is belong to Si who is new member in this forum. I' ll let Si tell the story of this tree. Very interesting. I love this tree because it looks very sexy. Good job Si. Bonhe

There are Satsuki.

It is Tamarix with interesting shape. It is quite different with tamarix bonsai we usually see. Bonhe

This is a special bonsai. It may be an Averrhoa carambola specie. Vietnamese calls it as Khe. I don't think many people have ever seen it. It is tropical fruit tree, majority in Indonesia, Malaysia. The fruit looks like a star, that's why it is called as Star fruit in Asian supermarket. I wish I had this tree Bonhe

I like Star fruit. It's awesome to see the actual tree they come from used for Bonsai.
They sure had some nice trees.

The 3rd and 4th trees are California juniper.

The 2nd tree is California juniper. Beautiful trunk movement. Bonhe

Excellent California juniper bunjin. This tree is about 6 ft height!!!.

This is the last tree. It is also California juniper bunjin and about 5.8" height. Really nice. I should take away the chairs in the background. The tree is mixed very well into the giant scroll in the back. Very beautiful. Bonhe
