Sapling Division: SeanS’ Trident Forest

End of season colour
I may squeeze it into a smaller Reiho next spring, I’d like to start slowing it down so I can build some fine twigs as we move into the last half of the contest.

End of season trim. Corrected a few structural flaws and set the tree up to start building some fine branching from next season.

Repotted today into a Reiho. The last 3 years of the sapling division will be for building dense ramification and twigging.

Great start to the growing season for my little trident forest. First cutback and partial defoliation of the season. There are roots coming out the drainage holes already since repotting 2 months ago.
