Sad news.

Last Saturday my friend Larry, known here as Mike Corazzi (forum name chosen because he was a "fun guy") passed away after an illness. Shortly before he went into hospice he asked me to find homes fore his bonsai collection. Some of those trees and pots will be showing up on Facebook auctions with proceeds to his estate. The majority will be sold at the American Bonsai Association of Sacramento Spring Show in April.

I always enjoyed Larry’s posts. Seemed like he was always just enjoying his trees. That is what it’s all about, in my humble opinion.

Damn, I though he was just joking around when he wrote about the nearing end. I really appreciated his light heartedness and his joys in life.

Although I'm still a newcomer, I feel a bit like I just lost a teacher, even though I barely interacted with him. His user name was definitely clever, and I am just realizing that it was apparently much more subtle than I thought.
I do find some solace that his legacy will be passed on to others who will continue and appreciate his art. His presence will long be missed.
