I believe this to be my first Sabina juniper. I was surprised that I did not start a thread for it.
I know that I have posted it somewhere else but not sure where.

I can’t find a pic of it untouched- these are the earliest I could find. I believe it was purchase in 2021
2022.

Some later pics. Changing angles and wiring.

Here’s where we are currently. Less side to side movement, but I like the silhouette

All in all, pretty gangly tree. I hope to continue filling it out and chasing foliage back as much as possible.

nice work so far and thanks for sharing the whole progression as far as you kept track of it :)

so this is just my opinion based from the last picture, on what i see and what could be developed in the future to me it is a tall slender trunkline and not a powerfull short and tapered one as they sometimes say les is more but not making the tree shorter i think it could maybe do without that first right branch maybe even the left one also and because of the straight botom section angle it slanting a bit to the right and as the top is a bit more pliable then the bottom part of the trunk bend that to balance it and give it some balance, i see a high up branch on a good spot wich you cold let drop down to fill up an empty area created by removing the bottom branches ofcourse i can not see exactly how the back branches are placed the bottom branches can be kept on to thicken the base some more and be jinned later, i made a quick virtual to picture my toughts anyway its a tree with potentional it looks happy so you have options while you keep going on as you are !

Thank you for the virtual. I like it. It’s much more dynamic. I’ll definitely keep this in mind.
