Rocky Mt Juniper: First styling

I want to see lots of pictures... In the first picture, the foliage is not able to turn back in the way of the forces... in the second picture the tree has a more upright habit from the beginning. As stated, everything is possible in nature.
I agree with you. These were just a couple quick examples I took on a collecting trip which illustrate your statement.

@MACH5 I was going through your beech thread (killer forest btw) and it linked to this thread. Whatever happened to this craggy old RMJ?

Cheers.

B

Sorry B! I just happened to see this. Yes Vin is correct except I sold it through EBay a few months ago. I felt I took it pretty far from where it was but now I needed to move on. This year I have made some ruthless decisions and have sold many trees and continue, to some degree, to do so.

A shame but I understand the need to cull the herd from time to time. I'll look out for your next sale!

Ok. I have a nice big Japanese maple clump for sale. Not cheap but offering it at a very good price. Please PM if interested. I will have some other smaller but nice stuff for sale closer to spring.

I have just received three 3 year old RMJ plants. I would like to start their first simple wiring for a little movement in them. Does one needle pluck them where the wire crosses over a juniper scale or needle. I don't want to hurt these young Bonsai subjects. Right now they are growing straight as an arrow' but I think a little subtle starting movement would help out. I don't plan on doing much work
on these guys for another year, but a little help now would be apricated. Please give me some good thoughts.
thanks,
Robert
