rescue my tree

Woodland....I understand you are getting somewhere.....and may understand this already.....but sometimes a good story could help some understand.

Of repotting frequently....

It is the same as if.....
You were to have your entire digestive system removed, and then placed back...
Makes it hard to eat.

While we could take an I.V.

There is no I.V. for the tree.

I know. I was having a hard time deciding if I should just leave it in the small pot until spring or not. Since I know how to transplant with minimum damage and shock and the roots were bound up a bit I decided to go ahead and put it in sand. This gives it room and insulation from cold, which it is not used to, and allows for easier transplant later.

:)

Reading that made me think of
"You gotta crawl before you walk"
And you are crawling well.

Crawling well, leads to those very important, "aha moments", that moves you leaps and bounds!

Excellent future progression!

Then, I think of that Blog Post from Peter Tea, and how he talks about how he has to not damage the patina on an old ass pot. Boy, me and Tina are strangers! And I ain't spinning goldies on Tesla, yeah that was a gold lowrider bicycle spoke Adair!, So I won't know antique pot for awhile!

And I remember how much there is to learn ahead.

And I remember, no matter how much we learn, crawl, leap or bound, there's always a time where we WILL just end up shitting our pants again!

A new introduced bug, obviously changing weather patterns, New species for self, fires, landlords, import bans, etc.....

There is literally absolutely no way to perfect, plan for everything, have capability to remedy everything.....

We can't do anything further than be with the tree everyday.

That's why I love this!
