Wow!

So my girlfriend's neighbor cut down a large pine in her backyard earlier this year. I mentioned 2 pieces looked like they would make a nice table possibly which she then mentioned to her 10 year old daughter who loves too do stuff like that. Fast forward to yesterday and it is ready for some stain and varnish. Proud of that kid. :D

BOF logo I came up with 15 years ago for me and my buddy's band, Birds On Foot.
Got bored today, impatiently awaiting the springtime warmth and bonsai work.
My parents gave me this little engraving tool with a burr bit, and I had this old American Alder Placard, some little brass rod, glue, paint, epoxy.
Scratched the itch though.

Really nice work. My son is an avid fisherman.
Thanks!
I have been making all sorts of different experimental shapes and sizes.
This year I want to focus on finding a shape that swims well, and recreating it over and over to see how consistent I can be.

It's hard to make two wooden lures exactly the same, especially because I'm free-handing everything.

Final touches on the PRS replica. Fancy Ziricote top over Honduras Mahogany body, with Wenge neck. Wenge and Maple fretboard, with PRS bird inlays. Wenge binding. Bare Knuckle pickups. True Oil gunstock finish is my go to for finish.

Some prints that I accidentally bought at a local bootsale (Same as a flea market)..

I actually bought a box of horology magazines for a pound or two, When I arrived home I was looking through the mags and found a folder with the name Gustav Adolf Mossa, It had a few A4 sized prints inside that I loved! The first one is the cover of the folder..
