Choppy*2 , the middle one in the first picture is delightful. One thing about all of them is the too long Jin. Its distracting from the whole image. You seem to have a decent idea of style and the ability to move raw stock into a near Bonsai image, which shows you have talent. Now keep them alive and refine them further and you will have some nice Bonsai.

Nice,..

I am still practicing with making jins and you seem to have done quite well. Are you using a dremmel or hand tools?

Nice work. The Jins need shortened on some of them but I think they add to the look. Did you do rootwork to those too?

I kept some long Jins/Shari on my Box Store Challenge entry that I later regretted and removed. I kept one for insurance to keep the tree alive because I removed a lot of foliage. The other one was kept because I thought it looked cool. Both are gone now and the tree is thriving. The tree in the last photo to the right and in front is really nice. If you have it propped up on that brick because you intend to change the angle, I think it looks better as it currently sets in the pot. Just my two cents.

the jins are just stripped branches at this point - they can be shortened or twisted later. These guys will all just hang for a year or so and I do like the angle of the one that a few of you preferred as well. Just looking at options :)

I am open to any tools - I have a dremel but these were done with just hand tools

Not sure where you live, but when do you let your junipers rest. Mine have aready gone dorminate for the winter. You have done a really good job on the trees.

I like what you have done with those trees. Makes me want to head down to Lowes and see what I can do.
