I moved into my house last year, and there were two of these bushes out front, with one much scragglier than the other.IMG_20250119_142203451.jpg

So I ripped out one today and was able to separate it into multiple potential bonsais.

We'll see how it does. Once the cold snap passes, I'll put the smaller ones out.
 
Nice. I'm planning to rip some out of the ground at my parents' house this spring.
I feel that! I'm planning on collecting some from my parents house this spring too! They're moving this year, so I figure I might as well take some trees before they leave!

Got photos of my last 4. For being a highly invasive species, I'm going to give them a stern talking to if they don't survive this!
