Paying $2000 for this Shishigashira... big brain or dumb af?

That’s a hard pass. Not worth it as a bonsai project.

There are a lot of pretty fantastic trees you could get for $2k and that is not one of them.

Maybe due to the species it's worth that in the nursery world as a landscape tree? It'd be nice to have one in the ground for air layers I suppose, but still not $2k nice.

My local nursery has like a 5ft tall shishigashari for 120 bucks probably could get like 4-5 air layers out of it, if you’re interested maybe they can ship it to you

Where’s that?

Where in the world are you qwq I can't get anything near that size for less then 500 qwq I apparently need to drive down to wherever you are

Uh, WTF...This would be a "NO" accompanied by a taser. The guy's selling you a landscape tree with a premium, nursery price. Not worth the money and really not worth the boring, vanilla air layered crappy bonsai material you'd get from it.

I think i paid 150 bucks for a shi shi with a 4 inch trunk at the nursery here. 2 grand is insane.
