The so called "money tree". I didn't want to start a thread about this species, Asked about it in the Schefflera thread, but everyone was too busy chopping the tree or each other, I guess. At any rate, I think my little query got lost in the dust up. So:
I have a four foot, unbraided triple trunk with all the growth at the distals. I need to lowerithe whole thing. Am I going to be fortunate when I chop it like the mighty Schefflera, or not?

Unfortunately these just don't work for bonsai. They don't branch and the leaves are too large.

Well I was just suggesting not wasting time on them. You won't find much information about them or get much advice simply because they aren't the best for bonsai. As you can see, there's no ramification on that tree and the leaves didn't reduce much, if at all. IMO, it still just looks like a houseplant.

it's mass produced and mass grafted; i'm sure you'd be fine to chop it.
