I thought losing a few azaleas to hurricane Barry was enough but that wasn't the case. The rest of the azaleas and all my JM are dying from the salt water spray. They dropped all their leaves and show little signs of coming back.

My JBPs are true to their nature. They act like nothing happened.

One would think the bald cypress wouldn't have any issue but they also brown out a little.

Sorry to hear about the effect of salt spray, not surprised the JBP are doing well. They tolerate salt spray very well!
Due to the time of year it might be worth a try to repot the azalea into fresher soil. Just a thought! Particularily if they are in more of an organic mix or substrate with higher CEC.

I'm going to try. I've got nothing to lose.
