Nursery Map

Would it be possible to create a map for the site for members to add nurseries to by state? Sometimes nurseries aren't found on google and it would be helpful to know where they are when traveling. I know some owners are open to the public while others are strictly on appointment, so maybe an ability to click on the state and see what is in the area and a few details about the vendors.

The link above will take you to a map I created. It only has one entry so far and I think it would be a great addition to this site. Please feel free to edit and add locations that you know. The member password, which will grant you access to add pins, is bonsainutmap. I know this would help me as well as many others here.

Good idea but wouldn't this open it to vandalism? One bad nut can erase all the hard work of many. Just wondering.

sik, glad you took the initiative. now take it a step farther with the first 30 entries. Wiki pages are contributed to by many but initiated by few.

The member password allows you to add entries but not remove them. I guess if some dillweed wanted to sit around and add 100 Seymore Butts nurseries I would be OK with that..lol

I definitely will. I had to get up at 4 AM for a PT test today or I would have added more last night. I will continue to work on it. Thanks.
