Shibui
Imperial Masterpiece
I found myself with a little extra time recently.
The main repotting and replanting is done then a couple of wet days made it uncomfortable outdoors so I ventured into the shed.
The main components for this stand have been cluttering up the workbench for more than a couple of months. It was high time to cut the joints and do the assembly.
It has now had a couple of coats of oil and is ready for use........ if we ever get to have bonsai shows.
Base and trim is from one of our Eucalypts we know as red gum. Not sure what timber the main part of the top is but when I saw the fiddleback grain I knew it deserved to be something nice.
