I have installed a new search engine and am testing it. I will also have to go back through the site and ensure that links to the old search engine are updated.

With great power comes great responsibility :) This is a large site, and three letter searches, in particular, will cause a lot of server load. I just tested a forum search for "jbp" for all forums - and the search generated over 15K results (and took about 15 seconds). When conducting your searches, please search the smallest area possible. For example, searching titles will yield fewer results than searching forum content - and the more search terms you use, the more refined your results will be.

You will see the new search engine at the top of the forum page under the tab "Advanced Search".

You put it in your example, but using double quotes "Quercus Suber" for example is really helpful. Thanks Bnut.
