Just a quick update. Step one completed. Same 4 still alive. Also moved trees to 3 gallon pots. Thinking of putting them back in the ground for winter. Want to know if anyone had any tips or tricks to thicken trunk all these trees have doubled truck size, this summer it seams. I Hurd of planting a dinner plate under the trees to have the trees root outward and not downward. Is this true and should I trim roots or just leave root ball alone. And lastly when should I actually move them. If I move them for winter was thinking September- October.
