my trees are beging to break dormancy

My deciduous are all pushing their buds and a few are leafing out.

Nights have been mid 30s to mid 40s. Was wet, raw and cold last week despite 40 to 50 day temps.

Today the sun is shining and it wll be up to 60.

Everyone is going outside for some sun today and tomorrow. Will leave them all out if temps will stay in the 40s tonight.

YAY SPRING!

I know how you feel, were finally getting temps above sixty here, buds are beginning to break

Brian do you fertilize your finished trees the same?I've also read that plants will not benifit from organic ferts till temps are warm at night,I've also read that you will get larger leaves and coarser growth fertilizing before leaves harden off,but with a lot of bonsai related info a lot is contradicted.

It's finally getting warm in MA after a brutal winter (110 inches of snow!!). tthe night temps looks to be 40F with daytime highs in +50Fs going forward. I have my pines out already but I'll probably wait for each maple to leave out before moving each outside.
