My "Son of a Beech"

Was told by friends they wanted this beech removed from their yard, where they wish to be able to drive through. So I dug it up, made the bottom of the root ball flat, screwed the tree to a board, and planted "son of a beech" in a colander.

Open to suggestion what to do with "son of a beech" from this point on, including the timeline/long haul it will require.

Nice rescue! I find American beech can be fussy after a root pruning, so it can just chill out for now. Good times ahead with this tree!
