Ok, decent start for a beginner. Repotting twice might not be the best thing for the tree, but if you didn't mess with the roots too much on the second time, you'll probably be ok.

Leave it alone except water til next year and don't repot again for at least a couple years.

In order to get it next to the of the pot roots had to be messed with.

Repotting twice and styling twice in the same year are non recommended. The recommended route would be to style one year and repot the next spring. Otherwise you did a pretty good job for your first tree. If it lives a few more years, you will get a lot more branches to work with and it could be really nice.

Yeah, I kinda figured that but didn't want to be too harsh on him/her.

its an him and got thick skin :p

the Day after the first repot i changed the angle and position in the pot and didnt prune any roots i know now its not the best thing to do lol
it survived 6 months and the first styling wasnt that much Just some wire and a couple branches cut off

it looked healthy enough for styling round two imo (hope i was right )
styling round two was rewire and also prune some foliage and i jinnend one of the two upward growing trunks
now we play the waiting game :)

@thomas22 thnx i hope it does !

One of the first rules of bonsai that we try to hammer home is one insult per growing season.

Repotting is a major insult
Major pruning is an insult
Major styling is an insult

X2!
Major pruning is an insult
Major styling is an insult

Lol!

Hell....it looks good so far!

A Lot Later....

If you bring the branches of the top part down some it'll be right there!

Good work!
Maybe too much of it...
But good nonetheless.

Sorce

You did a great job with your first tree. I did notice the crossing wires but your still learning so thats OK.
