More trees

So my afra, Ps came in. But I want to get something that looks good and/or looks good now. Trident maple???Chinese elm???Juniper??? Zone 6a. Thoughts??
If you want something that looks good, frame a picture or buy a painting. Even trees that are "finished" don't look like they're in a show for the entire year. Buy 5-10 nursery stock, hack them up some, and enjoy watching them back bud and progress. Try some of the weirder and more extreme techniques on ugly trees, so when you eventually have a non-ugly tree that requires those techniques, you won't be doing them for the first time in your prized tree. Enjoy the horticultural part of this hobby while waiting for the artistic visions you have to develop.
