Me and the fam did our annual and centuries old New Mexico tradition. Farolitos (or luminarias depending on what part of the state you’re in) on Christmas Eve. Basically a brown sack with sand and a candle.

Haha. Yes you are absolutely incorrect. I’m from Santa Fe and they are and always will be called Farolitos. Not to be confused with road side fires ie. Luminarias. An age old argument over naming these beauties continues!
