Mature or Scale foliage on juniper procumbens nana?

I thought that these all had juvenile foliage, but looking at a local nursery I spotted several that looked like they were forming scale foliage. Are these mislabeled?

No. They were in 3 gallons nursery containers and I was looking for some five gallon sized for hopefully larger trunks. Still thinking about going back and picking up a couple of these though. Maybe using them for semicascades.

yea, good idea,
thickness on nanas is difficult to find

my son got one that was bonafied 65 years old, still only 3 inch trunk


He sold it when he got married, help fund the honeymoon
