You'll make it, I have faith in you!I have make and detail 30 more pots to hit my goal......time is getting short.
I'm not sure. 30 pots in 23 days will be tough to do. I might have to take a day or two off from workYou'll make it, I have faith in you!
Nothing bad about that! It will be worth it, but you have set a high bar for yourself.I might have to take a day or two off from work![]()
Yeah, I don't think I will be doing another 100 pot batch anytime soon after this one.Nothing bad about that! It will be worth it, but you have set a high bar for yourself.
Production can zap creativity. Take it at your own pace, but yeah 100 pots was a HUGE goal!I'm not sure. 30 pots in 23 days will be tough to do. I might have to take a day or two off from work![]()
Definitely agree! I printed out a calendar for the month of February. I broke it down to mini goals per day up to the bisque firing date. If I stick to the plan I should be able to make my mark.....Production can zap creativity. Take it at your own pace, but yeah 100 pots was a HUGE goal!
I disagree. It's maybe counter intuitive but constraints breed creativity. The constraint of hitting a specified number in a specified time can force one to think about new techniques and tooling aimed at increasing efficiency which may in term lead to new results.Production can zap creativity. Take it at your own pace, but yeah 100 pots was a HUGE goal!
This is the hard part to fight against. The key is to not compromise and "slosh through" just to satisfy the constraint.
Good luck with the forest! Should make an interesting thread for us.Sixty fifth pot of the 'Special Batch' is done. As of right now, this pot has became my favorite of the batch. I can picture a JM forest growing in this pot.

I was contacted yesterday about that pot and several others.....so it may go to a new home. With the possibility of it going to a new home I made one similar out of the six I made last night. It's still on my mini wheel drying. I really want to make a small JM forrest!Good luck with the forest! Should make an interesting thread for us.
And I was just thinking, with all the new variations in shapes, feet, and sizes -- who could choose just one? Worse than potato chips!that pot and several others
