Mame pots on a mini pottery wheel

That one's bigger🥰 Do you ever sleep?😄
Lol, those pots just listed was yesterday's work. We had a snow day and I was home basically the entire day.

My bisque firing date is 23 February. I have make and detail 30 more pots to hit my goal......time is getting short.

Production can zap creativity. Take it at your own pace, but yeah 100 pots was a HUGE goal!
Definitely agree! I printed out a calendar for the month of February. I broke it down to mini goals per day up to the bisque firing date. If I stick to the plan I should be able to make my mark.....

I disagree. It's maybe counter intuitive but constraints breed creativity. The constraint of hitting a specified number in a specified time can force one to think about new techniques and tooling aimed at increasing efficiency which may in term lead to new results.

The key is to not compromise and "slosh through" just to satisfy the constraint. You must hold yourself to the same high standards of result: something @Pitoon does to obsession ;)

This is the hard part to fight against.

I think I can hit the mark....might take some late nights and a day or two off from the day job to get it done.

Good luck with the forest! Should make an interesting thread for us.
I was contacted yesterday about that pot and several others.....so it may go to a new home. With the possibility of it going to a new home I made one similar out of the six I made last night. It's still on my mini wheel drying. I really want to make a small JM forrest!
