Low Tempertures

No... actually I was thinking of not bringing anything in. But many of my seedlings and small maples were just starting to bud, and I wouldn't want them to get frost damage because I was too lazy to bring them in for one night. Supposed to get down to 30F tonight, but it is really windy.
Yes. Definitely. I’m learning to take the -better safe than sorry- saying to heart.

How much light is needed this time of year? with colder temperatures I had To put a few in garage that were starting to leaf out but even day temps colder for next 3 days. Ok to be in garage for 3-4 days with no sun?

They should be ok with little light for that time period. You can rotate them back outside during the day (mid-morning after temps get above 35 or so). If left out, those leaves will likely be severely damaged or killed off. It it gets cold enough and the pots are smaller, you also risk root damage or death if the soil freezes through--which can happen if temps stay below or at freezing for a few hours.

I used to really enjoy early spring - and now bonsai shuffling stress. I have too many trees to shuffle and simply placed everything back into the mulch pile. Fingers crossed.
