Thanks so much for the response! To fill in a few of the holes....
I dont have access to much material.
Huge wallet ...
Though I have been interested in bonsai for years, I've only recently started to really take it seriously (as much as I can).
No exciting clubs in my area.

With that being said... I really like your idea of working with what I have. I think I am frustrated with the progress of the tree... but maybe I can work that out with the shrink! I really haven't wired this tree much sooooo...... Maybe time to reevaluate my initial idea.

Well, I spent the morning pulling down and wiring the branches. LOL I already like it better. I also cleaned up that funky cut at the top of the trunk... Be nice to get a few shoots out of it!
Anyway.... Progress, not perfection!
